Booking a wedding photographer is so exciting and nerve racking, I get it! This is why I've laid out the step by step process required to book a wedding with me. STEP ONE: CONTACT
My number one tip for you here is to contact me EARLY to book your date. Summer/Fall wedding seasons are usually booked up by the Fall/Winter before. Just send me an email or give me a call to check the availability of your date. All dates are first come first serve and can not be held without a contract and retainer fee in place.

STEP TWO: CONTRACT & RETAINER FEE
Ive combined these two into one step because they must be completed together. You can view, print, or download the contract on the August Payton Photography Wedding Contract page. The non-refundable retainer fee amount is included in the assigned agrement for your total coverage- but knot that it is 30% of the total due. You can choose to mail the contract and retainer fee or meet with me in person. Please contact for mailing and check details.

STEP THREE: RELAX & PLAN
Now that you have your photographer booked it is time to plan your wedding and of course relax when you can. I have created many resources that will help along the way including a post about Planning & Preparing for your wedding and a Recommended Wedding Timeline for you to refer to when creating schedule for your big day. I also am able to meet with you to plan out the entire schedule and customize things a little more if you wish to do so.
